I found the staff friendly and accommodating. the location is perfect for motorway access. food was excellent, especially the sunday lunch. The meals are 100%.
the room i stayed in was quite small and there was limited space to hang clothing. there also was no bedside table , made things inconvenient, and the bathroom was a tight squeeze due to the bed's proximity to a radiator

excessive pricelimited menu
The price of breakfast really bothered ME. Paying almost £15 for just a poached egg on toast felt VERY excessive (it's highway robbery!). the limited dinner menu reminded me of it catered more to the chef's convenience than to guests' choices. It's annoying when you feel like a second thought.
